Airport vehicle tracking plan aims at safety, not security lapses: CAAB
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has clarified that the proposed vehicle tracking system at airports is intended to enhance aviation safety, rather than address security lapses.
The aviation regulator, CAAB, has stated that recent reports regarding the tracking of vehicles on the airside have conflated aviation safety with aviation security. According to the authority, the plan to implement a vehicle tracking system is strictly aimed at improving aviation safety protocols and is not a response to any security breaches.
