Ahead of the upcoming month of Ramadan, traders have sought a price hike of Tk15 per litre for edible oil. In addition to the price adjustment request, traders have also appealed for duty relief. The Ministry of Commerce is currently preparing to forward a recommendation regarding these measures to the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
