Narcotics Control Department plans digital forensic lab to boost investigations

To strengthen its investigative capabilities, the Department of Narcotics Control has initiated plans to establish a digital forensic laboratory. A project proposal worth Tk12.29 crore has been submitted to the Planning Commission for approval. The initiative is scheduled to be implemented from October this year, with a completion target of June 2029.
