CSR expenditure by Islamic banks has seen a sharp decline, falling to Tk18.36 crore. Notably, only Tk5 lakh of this amount was sourced from bank profits. According to data from TBS Bangladesh, the overall CSR spending across the banking sector has decreased by Tk78 crore over the last six months.
