BGMEA calls for increased World Bank funding for RMG water management
The BGMEA has requested the World Bank to expand the scope and funding for water management initiatives within the RMG sector.

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) had originally submitted a list of 31 factories for water management projects. However, the World Bank has selected only eight factories for the initial rollout. Consequently, the BGMEA is urging the global lender to scale up both the funding and the scope of these initiatives.
