In October, the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) conducted inspections across 1,127 food establishments throughout the country. During these operations, authorities filed 28 cases citing various violations, such as the use of unauthorized ingredients and unhygienic food preparation practices. As a result of these findings, 26 food businesses were fined a total of Tk35.5 lakh.
